The Quantum Programme of the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB) will be presented to the public at a launch event held on 24 June 2026 at the SSB Nuri Demirağ Meeting Hall. Within the programme, the SSB R&D and Technology Management Department will deliver the Quantum Programme introduction presentation, and the opening and information presentation of Türkiye Kuantum Platformu will take place. Following the address by the President of Defence Industries, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, signing ceremonies will be held for a cooperation protocol on strategic competency development in defence-industry quantum technologies and for the quantum processing unit (QPU) and KERTERİZ projects. The afternoon session will feature a presentation and a panel on the Quantum Programme and the Quantum Algorithm Competition; the panel will bring together representatives of public institutions and of the finance, civil and defence-industry sectors.
