Universities

Universities form the foundation of knowledge production, research capacity, and qualified human-capital development in the national quantum ecosystem. The platform's collaboration with universities is envisaged to be structured through mechanisms such as the "Quantum Technologies Human Capital Development Cooperation Protocol."

Academic Programs

It is envisaged that undergraduate, graduate, and certificate programs will be opened and developed in the fields of quantum computing, sensing, and communication. Curricula are intended to be developed together with the parties, taking into account current developments in the field and national priorities. Details of human-capital development activities such as scholarships, internships, exchanges, joint theses, and summer schools are presented on the Human Capital page.

Academic Production and Research Capacity

Making the research capacity and scientific output of universities visible within the ecosystem is a core objective. The transfer of academic research outputs to applied R&D and technology-maturation processes (Research Centers) and to productization processes (Industry Firms, Startups) is encouraged. Universities contribute to university-industry-research center consortia through academic research and knowledge. The national and international funds and support programmes that these research activities and consortiums may benefit from, together with the calls opened under them, can be accessed on the Calls and the Funding and Support pages.

Cooperation Model

Collaborations with universities are conducted in a coordinated manner. Regular coordination meetings are planned to monitor and evaluate activities. The access model for the shared use of research infrastructures is addressed on the Infrastructure page.
