Organised jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB), under the coordination of the Defence Industry Academy, the second edition of the National Competency Initiative Camp was held on 8–12 May 2026 (session for female students) and 14–18 May 2026 (session for male students) at the Antalya Alaaddin Keykubat Youth Camp. Aimed at undergraduate students in engineering and social sciences, the programme included training in advanced-technology areas such as artificial intelligence, big data, quantum awareness, intelligence and systems engineering, alongside workshops and applied studies in project management, entrepreneurship, innovation, design thinking and leadership. Quantum-technology awareness training was among the content contributing to the field's need for qualified human resources.
