Participation is invited in the 2026 Quantum Open Source Software (QOSS) Survey conducted by the Unitary Foundation. The call has been announced by the UNESCO Global Quantum Initiative team. The survey aims to provide insights into trends in quantum software development, research and adoption. To this end, it gathers the global quantum community’s views on research interests, software tools and platforms, development practices and emerging trends in the quantum open-source ecosystem. Researchers, students, developers, educators and professionals who develop or use quantum software are eligible to take part. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and the deadline for participation is 29 October 2026. Anonymised and aggregated results are expected to be made publicly available.
