According to an Anadolu Agency-sourced report on Haberler.com, TÜBİTAK UME showcased rubidium and strontium optical lattice atomic clock prototypes and quantum chip samples at SAHA 2026, held at Istanbul Expo Center on 5-9 May 2026.
The report says TÜBİTAK shared 16 systems with the public for the first time, while BİLGEM displayed 39 products, 14 of them for the first time. Optical atomic clocks are strategic for precise timing, navigation and geodesy.
